Jeff ThomsenJeff started Thomsen Company in 1977 and worked as a carpentry sub-contractor and a general contractor on both residential and commercial projects through the early 90's. He then focused nearly all of his effort on new home construction. Over the years the projects and technology used on these projects has grown exponentially. Jeff is self-taught and well versed in AutoCad, Prolog, Microsoft Project, Excel, Photo Shop and now Dreamweaver. His father is an architect, his grandfather was a home builder and his son holds a degree in architecture and is working toward his Architects license. You could say that building and architecture are in his blood.

Kriss BudnoKriss Budno, aka The Wizard, has run the office since 2000 and is responsible for everything there, including keeping Jeff in line.  Kriss has an Associates Degree in Finance from HCC and worked for 16 years as a credit manager in the petroleum industry.  Her light-hearted, enthusiastic, can-do attitude makes her a valuable asset to the company. Kriss also manages and schedules the maintenance and miscellaneous repairs on our completed projects with our clients and our subcontractors.  Kriss works to scuba dive.

Mike TimmonsMike Timmons has been a superintendent with us since 1998. Before joining us, Mike worked for R.B. Ratcliff and Associates, a well-respected River Oaks builder, for 10 years and ran their millwork shop and field installations for 8 of those years. Mike has a degree in Architectural Construction Technology from Illinois Central College. Mike took a year off to help design and draft a 15,000 SF residence and is back and well-versed in Auto-Cad and Revit, a
3-D modeling program.

Gregg CataniGregg Catani, the newest addition, has been a superintendent with us since 2009. His background is in both architecture and construction. He attended the School of Architecture at the University of Houston and worked for 7 years in the architecture field for YLS as a project team leader on several schools, retail build outs and use and assessment studies for the Air Force. Then he decided he would rather build it than draw it and went to work for Windham Builders for 4 years, another well-respected builder. Gregg too is well versed in Auto-Cad.
